Governor N.N. Vohra spoke to Sh. D.K. Pathak, DG BSF, and Sh. Rakesh Sharma, IG BSF (Jammu) and congratulated them on the laudable response of their personnel who were attacked by the terrorists near Udhampur yesterday. While conveying his sympathy to the next of kin of the two personnel who were martyred in the encounter he particularly lauded the heroic role played by Constable ‘Rocky’. Observing that this attack aims at reviving terrorism in the Jammu region, the Governor urged enhanced surveillance on all fronts, particularly in re-enforcing the Counter Terrorism grid along the entire IB. Besides speaking with DG, BSF, the Governor spoke in this regard with Lt. Gen D.S. Hooda, Northern Army Commander, Sh. K.Rajendra, DG J&K and Sh. S.K. Bhagat, Spl. DG CRPF.
