Srinagar, May 03 (KNS): Authorities have suspended two teachers of Govt Boys High School Hangah Mawar Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after they were allegedly found involved in immoral activities in the institute.
According to the order issued by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara under number 03/DHEO/camp/Mawer, dated 02-05-2018, a group of teachers are involved in immoral activities in Govt Boys High School Hangha Mawer. “Undersigned arranged surprise visit along with Principal HSS Qalamabad/ZEO Mawer in presence of Sarpanch and other representatives of the village to address the grievances,” the order copy available with Kashmir News Service (KNS) reads.
“It is perceived by support material that the compliant is genuine and initially the teacher namely Raja Shamsul Islam is placed under suspension but will work in middle School Dogripora under ZEO Rajwar,” it reads.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Another involvee P.E.T namely Mohd Ishaq Malik is suspended and attached in HS Hengnikot Villgam,” it added.
The order reads that the thread bear enquiry is initiated with immediate effect and committee is constituted as Farooq Ahmad Malik Principal GHSS Handwara and Syed Mohd Farooq Lecturer BHSS Zachaldara.
It added that the committee will enquire of and put forth report and recommendations within seven days for necessary action.
Besides, police has also registered a case in this regard and said that the investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, student and locals demanded strict action against the accused teachers who are involved in immoral activities. (KNS)
