Srinagar, Feb 25 (KNS): Two militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Amshipora area of Shopian on Friday morning, police said here.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that encounter broke out in Amshipora this morning, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that in the ensuing encounter two militants have been killed, while search operation was going on.

The official said that incriminating material including arms and ammunition were also recovered from their possession. (KNS)
