Srinagar October 20:(KNS) Two militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter that raged between militants and government forces in Hakripora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A senior police official confirmed the killing of two militants in the South Kashmir gunfight. However, the identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained, he added.
As per the official, two to three militants were believed to be trapped inside the cordon. He added prior to retaliatory fire militants were offered to surrender which they refused.

Yesterday a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Melhoora area of Shopian district in which two militants were killed whose identity as per police official is yet to be ascertained. (KNS)
