Srinagar, July 07 (KNS): A scooty rider and his pillion died in a road accident that took place near Margund area of Kangan in Ganderbal district on Thursday afternoon.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the scooty was hit by a vehicle near Margund, resulting in on spot death of scooty rider and his pillion.
The official identified the deceased as Sameer Ahmad Khan and Muzaffar Ahmad Najar—both residents of Kangan.
He said that police have taken cognisance of the matter and have started further investigation. (KNS)
