Two Hybrid Militants Involved in killing of UP labourers in Shopain arrested; hunt on for more accused: ADGP Kumar

 
Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that two hybrid militants involved in the killing of two non locals in south Kashmir's shopian district have been arrested.

Speaking to media persons at the scene of the incident in Shopian, he said that the main accused who has confessed to the crime behind the attack was arrested during the night and later his associate has also been arrested within hours of the incident. 

During investigation it came to fore that the main accused had lobbed the grenade at the behest of Lashkar-e-Toiba commanders Danish and Abid. "Soon the duo will be killed," he said. 

Earlier, police said that militants lobbed hand grenade in Harmen Shopian in which two  labourers from UP namely Monish Kumar & Ram Sagar, both residents of Kanooj, UP got injured. They were shifted to hospital where they succumbed. 

Later in a another tweet, police said hybrid LeT militant identified as Imran Bashir Ganie of Harmain Shopian was arrested by police. Further investigation and raids are going on police said. (KNS)
