Handwara June 26 (KNS) : Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Kralgund area of Handwara on Sunday evening.
According to a statement, reads, on June 26, 2022, a Police party from PS Kralgund while on patrolling duty at Gundchabootra crossing stopped a motorcycle bearing Regd. No. JK05C/ 1104 for checking. The persons on motorcycle were identified as 1.Adil Ahmad Mir S/o Bashir Ahmad
Mir, R/o Hachipora Rafiabad and
In relation to this, Case FIR No. 43/22 U/S 8/20, 29 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kralgund and investigation initiated. Motorcycle used for commission of crime has also been seized in the instant case.
General public is requested to cooperate with Handwara Police in sharing information related to drug peddling so that approproate action under law can be initiated.(KNS)
