Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): A TV artist was killed, while her nephew was injured after militants fired upon them in Hishroo area of Chadoora in Budgam district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS), said that militants fired upon the ladu identified as Ambreen and her 10-year-old nephew outside her home in Hishroo Chadoora.
They said that the duo was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where Ambreen was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem confirmed to KNS that the lady was critically injured in the incident and she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. (KNS)
