Srinagar, May 20 (KNS): J&K Gujjar Bakerwal Youth Conference, State President, Zahid Parwaz Choudhary, in his statement today said that there is no planning, no vision and no adequate utilisation of funds of SCA to TSP reserved for Tribal People in J&K, by state Govt. He while demanding said that Crores of rupees are being given from centre in order to Promote the living standard of people of J&K, for the fullfilment of their basic amenities but here in State there is the Zero implementation on grounds, the development condition of this poorest among the backward section of society is getting bad to worsened day by day.
If there is Zero utilisation on ground where the funds are going?
He said that when it comes to the Tribal sub plan, the state lacks a coherent vision and plan of action, Government departments have no clarity on the status of Gujjar Bakerwals and there is no effective mechanism for collecting comprehensive data for assessing the development of this community.
The Youth leader has alleged that “there is no evidence of systematic planning process happening in any of the government departments in the state regarding SCA to TSP implementation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He has raised apprehensions about serious irregularities in utilisation of plan funds.
Zahid Parwaz Choudhary, demanded for the appointment of a committee following persistent representations from Gujjar Bakerwal organisations, Officers of State Vigilance organisation officers, and leader of political parties in order to check the irregularities being did by Departments and to know about the utilisation of funds and also to send the recommendation to state Govt. How the funds should be utilised properly, Choudhary while adding said.
the poor implementation of the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) on ground which is the cause of abject poverty of community said Parwaz.
He also said that there is the urgent need for the state government and Tribal Affair Minister to review its policies and programmes have been set for the Development of Gujjar Bakerwals.
He also demanded for the robust and effective institutional mechanism for implementing the plans and a comprehensive legislation for ensuring proper fund allocation and utilisation of funds as per national guidelines, and proper monitoring of the sub plan projects Choudhary while adding said.
