People given long dates at tertiary care for such facilities

Pattan 31th  July:(KNS)The Medical Science having progressed with interventional practices, the people of Pattan while calculating the surgical hands at the said hospital have requested the authorities for providing immediate Interventional Surgical Expertise Facilities at the said hospital besides its importance of being at National Highway location.  The people of district Baramulla or Kupwara can avail the facilities of any nature of trauma facilities for which otherwise such cases are being referred to Srinagar and at times it has brought no good luck for patient care facilities while people succumb on way to their tertiary care facilities. It too is true that Department of Health Services Kashmir has been extending greater and latest facilities in far flung areas but Pattan still lacks Laparoscopic Interventional Facility despite the fact a good number of surgeons are available at the health facility. People are of the opinion as to why with latest technicality and feasible procedures people are put to inconvenience and have to invest in private sector huge amounts to such surgeons while as government has earlier also given assurances of providing latest facility at the said trauma centre.

While speaking to the correspondence, old aged people requested Lt Governor UT of J&K, Adviser B and ACS Health and, Medical Education to kindly intervene as the facility shall be a psychological comfort in place to deal any kind of disaster, emergency or otherwise also shall benefit the patient care at large. The people of the area conveyed that open surgery techniques having been replaced by modern professional ability should be made a part to the services for patients especially emergencies/disasters at the said trauma hospital. It has been observed that tertiary care hospitals being overburdened especially having Covid Care Facilities in place , the patients have to wait long and are being given dates which sometimes prove fatal for the patients who intend to go for such facilities.

Lt Governor, UT of J&K has been requested by the people at large to direct the concerned departmental heads to assure that such facility is provided in the hospital which can prove Surgical Interventional Professionalism in dealing with disasters, emergencies of any kindkind (KNS)
