‘JKSRTC will operate bus on Srinagar-Jammu route’

Srinagar, May 6 (KNS): Minister for Transport Sunil Kumar Sharma today flagged off the state’s first Scania Metrolink premium luxury bus at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre in the presence of officials from the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) and the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU).
JKSRTC will be operating the fully air conditioned bus on the Srinagar-Jammu route.
In a statement, the company said that this marks Scania’s first successful association with JKSRTC. Scania is working with JKSRTC and ASRTU to bring sustainable transport solutions to J&K, in line with the state government’s vision of creating a sustainable future.
