Pulwama, Mar 5 (KNS): A complete shutdown was observed on the third consecutive day on Saturday in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of three militants who were killed in an overnight encounter that erupted between forces and militants on Wednesday late evening in Darsara.
According to KNS correspondent, all the shops and other business establishments remained closed in the area while the traffic is of the roads. However, no clashes were reported in the area till the report was last filed.
Three militants were killed in a night long encounter that erupted between forces and militants after a joint team of police and army cordoned-off a residential house in Mir Mohalla of Dadsara village after inputs about the presence of the slain militants.
The slain militants, affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen, were identified as Asif Ahmad Mir of Dadsara, Mohammad Ishaq Ahmad Parray of Laribal and Ashiq Ahmad Mir of Chersoo. (KNS)
