‘We can’t wait for another youth to fall to bullets’

Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS): Strongly reacting against the unabated killings of Kashmiris by Indian forces, the incarcerated Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmad Shah, on Monday said time has come to show full-fledged resistance against the Indian occupation “in order to prevent further loss of lives of our youths”.
Shah also appealed the Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani and other pro-freedom leadership to jointly devise a strategy against such killing incidents.
“The unabated killings of our youths have converted the Valley into a slaughter house and to witness funerals on daily basis is painful. This is enough. The resistance leadership has to chart out a full-fledged strategy in this regard even at the cost of their lives. After all, martyrdom is a blessing for everyone,” Shah said in a statement to KNS.
“The resistance leadership has to decide and act now at any cost as we can’t wait for another youth to fall to bullets. India is hell bent to cleanse our new generation through bullets,” he said.
Expressing concern over the worsening situation in the State, Shah said Indian occupational forces, in their arrogance of the unbridled powers bestowed upon them by government, are playing a game of blood here.
“With same AFSPA, these brutal forces carried out numerous heart-wrenching massacres here.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAFSPA is their tool to carry out the generation cleansing in J&K and the biggest joke is they order an enquiry after such deliberate killings. Now time has come for people as well as pro-freedom leadership to launch a stiff resistance against the occupation,” he said.
The DFP chairman said he is extremely grieved at Pulwama killings saying, “Our hearts weep and blood boils”. “What was the crime of innocent Danish and our daughter Shaista, why were they robbed of their lives? I have no words to pay tributes to the people of Pulwama. “
Paying tributes and extending solidarity with Shaheed Shaista Hameed, Shaheed Danish Farooq and a mujahid Shaheed Aadil alias Abu Bakr, Shah prayed for patience to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.
“Due to the sacrifices of the mujahedeen like Shaheed Aadil, we will see the dawn of freedom of our nation very soon,” Shah said.
Meanwhile, on Shabir Ahmad Shah’s directions, party’s district president Pulwama, Muhammad Amin and other members visited the residences of all the martyrs and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. The delegation also paid tributes to them and prayed in their favour. (KNS)
