Three Soldiers Die in Road Accident in Ramban

Ramban, May 4 (KNS): Three army soldiers lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Ramban district  on Sunday.


 The accident happened around 11:30 am near Battery Chashma on National Highway 44.

According to officials, an army truck that was part of a convoy travelling from Jammu to Srinagar lost control and fell nearly 700 feet into a deep gorge.

The army, police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and local volunteers quickly launched a joint rescue operation.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelSadly, the three soldiers inside the truck were found dead at the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Sepoy Amit Kumar, Sepoy Sujeet Kumar, and Sepoy Man Bahadur. Officials said the vehicle was completely damaged and turned into a heap of metal due to the impact of the fall.

An investigation is underway to find out the exact cause of the accident. (KNS)
