Srinagar, Jul 09 (KNS): Three youth were killed while several others receive injuries during the clashes between youth and forces in South Kashmir districts.
Reports said that three youth died while several others sustained injuries during the clashes following the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani and his two other associates. “Youth set ablaze two police stations in Achabal and Damhal Hanjipora and police post in Kund area of Qazigund,” reports said.
Reports said that that a youth identified as Khurshid Ahmad who sustained bullet injury in a firing incident in Kulgam on Friday evening succumbed to his injuries.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The other youth identified as Adil Bashir was killed when forces opened fire in Dooru area of Anantnag district. “Around 17 youth were injured during the clashes between youth and forces in different areas of South Kashmir. They were shifted to hospital for treatment,” reports said.
Situation is stated to be tense and out of control in South Kashmir, report added.
Inspector General of Police (IGP), Javaid JMujtaba Gilani confirmed to KNS that three youth were killed during the clashes while the situation in South Kashmir areas is currently tense. (KNS)
