Baramulla, Aug 13(KNS): In a powerful display of faith and unity, an estimated 50 thousand devotees congregated in Chinabal (Baramulla) to commemorate the 25th Muharram Jaloos, dedicated to Imam Zainulabideen (AS).

The Jaloos E Aza, organized by the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association, was led by its President, Imran Raza Ansari, and General Secretary, Abid Hussain Ansari.
 
The streets of Czenabal Baramulla were adorned with black flags and banners, reflecting the somber occasion of the 25th Muharram and the significance of Imam Zainulabideen (AS).

Devotees from various walks of life, irrespective of age or gender, participated with unwavering devotion, forming a procession that stretched as far as the eye could see.
 
Imam Zainulabideen (AS), also known as Ali ibn Husayn, holds a special place in  Islam as a survivor of the Battle of Karbala and an instrumental figure in carrying forward the teachings of his father, Imam Hussain (AS). The annual Muharram Jaloos serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the Imam and his companions, evoking emotions of grief, reflection, and unity.
 
President Imran Raza Ansari led the procession with humility and reverence, offering prayers and speeches that resonated with the crowd. He highlighted the importance of communal harmony and solidarity, emphasizing that the event transcended religious boundaries and stood as a testament to the diverse yet united fabric of the region.
 
Local volunteers and organizers worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of the jaloos, managing security, crowd control, and essential services.
