Kupwara, Aug 19 (KNS): People's Conference President Sajad Gani Lone Saturday said those political parties indulged in dilution of provisions other than Article 370 should be made accountable for their machinations by people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to KNS during his visit to Rajwar area in north Kashmir's Kupwara, Sajad Lone said that he is hopeful that Supreme Court will deliver justice to people of J&K. "As hearings of Article 370 and 35(A) have been started in the Supreme Court I am hopeful that the apex court will deliver justice to people of J&K. We all are hopeful that success will be ours" Sajad Lone said.

He said those diluted other provisions of the constitution and weakened Article 370 and 35(A) thereby, should be made accountable by people of J&K for injustices they committed with the people of J&K.

"Our counsel Rajiv Dhawan had put forth his arguments very well for which I am personally extremely thankful to him. I hope success will be ours," he  said.

Earlier Lone visited several villages of Rajwar Handwara in a public outreach program and met several delegations. "Thus is just a beginning. I will visit around 200-400 villages by next February or March to make party’s public outreach program strong. Besides other party leaders will also visit their area in coming times," he added.
