Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): The Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar on Friday said that third militant, who was involved in an attack on a police bus in Zewan area of Srinagar, has been killed in Pantha Chowk encounter late last night.

Kashmir zone police, quoting IGP on its official Twitter handle said that all three militants of JeM outfit involved in Zewan attack have been killed.

Earlier, in a press conference on Thursday at Kulgam, IGP had said that two of the three militants involved in Zewan attack were killed in Anantnag encounter. 

The IGP said that third militant has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Rather of JeM outfit.

Notably, three cops were killed, while 11 were injured after militants attacked a police bus in Zewan area of Srinagar in December 13. (KNS)
