Srinagar, September 20 (KNS): Team Red Foundation on Sunday announced a restructuring of its organisational framework and assigned new leadership responsibilities following a detailed review of members' interests, capabilities and organisational requirements.
The decision was taken during an organisational meeting in Srinagar, where all scheduled agendas were discussed, with the focus on strengthening internal functioning, expanding on-ground coordination and assigning clear responsibilities across different areas of work.
The restructuring provides a clearer division between executive focus areas, operational functions and district-level coordination, the organisation said.
Chairman Saadat Nasir Wani said the restructuring was aimed at giving deserving volunteers and new members greater ownership while creating a more organised and accountable system of functioning.
“This restructuring is not merely about designations. It is about giving our members responsibility, ownership and an opportunity to grow. Every position comes with a responsibility towards Team Red NGO and, more importantly, towards the people and causes we work for,” Wani said.
Under the new organisational structure, Sarmad Nasir Wani has been appointed General Secretary, while Dr Ashiq Rashid and Mufti Mohammad Aamir have been assigned as Additional General Secretaries. Abrar Ul Mehraj has been appointed Advisor to the Chairman.
In the Sports wing, Maqsood Rather has been appointed Head, with Ajaz Hassan, Rameez Dar, Irfan Wani, Basit Khan, Maheen Mushtaq, Romana and Seerat as Deputy Heads.
The Health Concerns wing will be headed by Dr Ashiq Rashid as an additional charge, with Ishfaq Mughal and Iqbal Wani as Deputy Heads.
Saniya Bilal will head Donation Drives and Relief Operations, assisted by Jahangir Mir and Faisal Jan as Deputy Heads.
Feema Farooq has been appointed Head of the Women's Wing, with Hafsa as Deputy Head, while Mudasir Kambay will head the Environment wing.
Owais Rather will head Educational Outreach, with Mashooq Lone, Heena Farooq and Danish Pala as Deputy Heads.

Mushi will head Event Management, with Inayat, Mehak Mir and Najeeb as Deputy Heads.
Aroosa Bangi will head Public Relations, assisted by Raja Manan, Zaid, Faisal Mir and Soubhan Wani as Deputy Heads.
Numair Shabir has been appointed Head of Media and Publicity, with Wariq Wani and Mehak Ali as Deputy Heads, while Ubaid Syeed will head Financial Management.
Reshi Aslam will head Regulatory and Security, with Umer Nabi, Shadab Ashraf, Irfan Kohli, Ubaid Wani, Faheem, Moomin and Zifran as Deputy Heads.
The organisation has also formalised its zonal and district-level coordination structure to strengthen its field presence.
Isra Wani has been appointed Zonal Coordinator for North Kashmir, Numair Shabir for Central Kashmir and Shah Fowket for South Kashmir.
In Kupwara, Khalil Ul Rahman has been appointed District Coordinator, with Ab Majeed and Nadeem Malik as Deputy District Coordinators.
Syed Moomin has been appointed District Coordinator for Baramulla.
In Srinagar, Ejaz Ahmad has been appointed District Coordinator, with Muntazir and Seerat as Deputy District Coordinators.
Anwar Ali has been appointed District Coordinator for Ganderbal, with Abid Hussain and Saifia Bhat as Deputy District Coordinators.
In Budgam, Mohsin Mushtaq has been appointed District Coordinator, with Sarwar Maqbool and Heena Farooq as Deputy District Coordinators.
Team Red said the revamped structure is intended to improve coordination, accountability, member participation and execution of social initiatives across Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with the leadership expressing confidence in the newly assigned teams and calling upon members to serve with dedication, discipline and compassion.
The leadership reiterated that the organisation's work is focused on serving society, empowering youth, supporting people in need and contributing positively to the nation and community.
Team Red said it remains committed to turning its vision into meaningful action on the ground with a shared spirit of service and responsibility.(KNS)
