Bogota, May 30 (KNS): Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, leading an all-party Indian delegation in Colombia, expressed deep disappointment over Colombia offering condolences to Pakistan for lives lost following Indian strikes in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
Tharoor clarified India’s firm stance on terrorism, stressing that there can be no equivalence between those who attack and those who defend. He also elaborated on India’s Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan.
BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, part of the delegation, stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India will continue to deliver strong responses to terrorism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The delegation, which includes MPs from BJP, Shiv Sena, LJP, and TDP, has already visited Guyana and Panama before arriving in Bogota. They will engage with Colombian Congress members, ministers, and think tanks, and later travel to Brazil and the US as part of India’s global outreach.
India’s precision strikes on May 7 targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan, in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan’s subsequent attempts to retaliate on May 8-10 were strongly countered, resulting in significant damage to key military installations.(KNS)
