Srinagar, Sep 16(KNS): ongoing encounter in Uri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district has resulted in the death of an unidentified terrorist, police said here on Saturday.

As per police the encounter broke out as security forces and terrorists engaged in a confrontation during a search operation in the Hathlanga area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

 The Kashmir zone police confirmed the incident via a Tweet on X, stating that one terrorist has been eliminated, and search operations continue in the area.(KNS)
