Kulgam, Apr 26 (KNS): Kulgam Police busted a terror module of HM involved in the recent killing of a Panch at Village Kulpora and three terrorist associates have been arrested so far and recovered incriminating materials including 02 grenades and a Pistol with 08 rounds. 
 
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), on March 03 militants  shot dead a Panch namely Mohd Yaqoob Dar som of Gh Mohd Dar of Kulpora Kulgam.  
 
“In this regard, a case with FIR No. 27/2022 under relevant sections of law at Police station Kulgam was registered and investigation got conducted through a special investigation team.”
 
The statement reads that during the course of investigation, it was learnt that an active terrorist of HM namely Farooq Ahmad Bhat S/O Ab Gani Bhat R/O Cheki Desend Yaripora had received directions from terror handlers based in Pakistan to target the PRI members of Kulgam. 
 
On their directions, he identified the target and gave direction accordingly to active terrorist  namely  Raja Nadeem Rather S/O Ab Rehman Rather R/O Ashmuji to execute the terror act with the support of their associates namely Nasser Ahmad Wani S/O Bashir Ahmad Wani R/O Srandoo, Adil Manzoor Rather S/O Manzoor Ahmad Rather R/O Ashmuji and Majid Mohd Rather S/O Lt. Gh Mohd Rather R/O Malipora Mirbazar.
 
It reads that the directions included to conduct reccee of the Panch's presence, arrange transport and provide logistics to execute the terror act.
 
“After strenuous efforts, Kulgam police arrested above mentioned terrorist associates involved in this terror crime and also seized arms & ammunition.”
 
It reads that it is pertinent to mention that the said module is linked with already busted (HM) terrorist module involved in the killing of sarpanch namely Shabir Ahmad Mir S/O Mohd Abdullah Mir R/O Audoora Kulgam on 11.03.2022
 
“The investigation of the case is going on and based on the investigation more arrests and recoveries are also expected. Efforts are on to neutralise the terrorists involved in this heinous crime,” it reads. (KNS)
