Ten injured in gas cylinder blast at MCCH Anantnag

 Srinagar, Mar 01 (KNS): At least ten persons were injured in a gas cylinder blast at Maternity and Child Care Hospital (MCCH) in Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said. 

 
An official from the MCCH Anantnag told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that an explosion probably due leakage in heating gas occurred at ticket counter of MCCH Anantnag, resulting in injuries to at least 10 persons. 
 
He said that all the injured were shifted to GMC Anantnag for treatment. "All the persons have received minor injuries in the incident," he said. 
 
The injured have been identified as Bilkeesa, Rabia Jan, Irshad Ahmad Wani , Suhail Raina, Zakir Hussain, Faiz Nazir Sofi, Bazila, Rehana, Mohammad Abbas Khanday and Javaid Ahmad Wagay. (KNS)
