Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNS) : Ten days capacity building tour (CBT) for 20 Moulvies/ village elders of Rafiabad region to New Delhi, Pushkar and Ajmer which had departed from Rafiabad on Oct 01 returned to Rafiabad today.
The participants as per the statement issued to KNS said that the tour was educative, admiring and refreshing. They visited Hazarat Nizamuddin Dargah, Jama Masid, Nehru Planetarium, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Humayuns Tomb, Zoological Park in Delhi and Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Roopangarh Fort, Pushkar Lake, Taragarh Fort, Anasagar Lake and Durga Bagh in Ajmer.

The CBT also interacted with Lt Gen Asit Mistry, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Delhi Area on 03 Oct 2018. The General Officer encouraged them to be messengers of peace and goodwill.
Endeavour was to make the tour educative and to expose the participants to plurality of culture, development and to connect the people of Kashmir with the rest of the country. The participants and local appreciated the effort and requested for more such events. (KNS)
