Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): Tehreek-e Hurriyat (TeH) leaders and activists including Peer Saif Ullah, Raja Meraj u Din, Ab Hamid Magrey, Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, Farooq Ahmad Bhat and others on Friday congregation addresses expressed their serious concern regarding the plight of detainees lodged in different jails and while lamenting at state administration for their highhandedness and brutalities, said that they have waged a war against youth of the state.
In a statement issued to KNS, while referring to gloomy condition of state, they said that in nook and corner of the state police in their night raids ransack properties and harass youth on one pretext or the other.
They expressed their anguish that police in night raids are reinforcing forces and creating a reign of terror in civilian localities.
They condemned authorities for declaring youth as proclaimed offenders and said that since Dogra regime it is the only precedence when administration is razing down or sealing properties of political leaders and activists.
They have crossed all limits and in a bid to prove themselves as more loyal than king are chasing youth and peace loving political activists .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTerming this a black slot on state administration, leaders said that this type of barbaric and inhuman attitude will prove detrimental for ruling class.
Meanwhile spokesman Tehreek-e Hurriyat while condemning state authorities, said that its district president Baramula Ab Gani Bhat is peaceful political activist and proclaiming him as offender is unlawful and unwanted as he is not an underground worker.
His activities are open and known to all. It is highly disgusting that his properties was razed down despite he is a prominent social and political worker of the locality.
His political activities are not averse to society but PDP led administration while crossing all its limits is curbing all fundamental and basic rights of individuals and political workers.
While lamenting administration for detaining innocent youth, its night raid and ransacking properties, spokesman said that police in their night raids in Ashtangoo, Bandipora, Quil Muqam, Allosa, Sogam and Bandipora, spokesman said that police authorities irrespective of age and gender are arresting and harassing youth and common people.
