Bandipora, Jul 13 (KNS): A 14-year-old boy was drowned in a Nallah Madumati in Sonerwani village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district late last evening, promoting authorities to launch rescue operation has been launched to trace his body.
An official told Kashmir news service (KNS), that the boy identified as Zahid Ahmad son of Masood Ahmad Magray of Ajar Bandipora was drowned yesterday late evening in Mudumati Nallah.
"Upon hearing the matter, rescue teams including Fire and emergency service, SDRF, police and army have been pressed into service to trace the body of the missing boy," he said.
"However the body of zahid has not been recovered so far,” he added. The rescue operation continued, when this report was being filed-(KNS).
