Srinagar, Jun 19 (KNS): An extra ordinary session of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum was Sunday convened under the chairmanship of Ab. Qayoom Wani.
The session was anguished over the unreasonable stoppage of salaries of teachers and masters working under SSA, RMSA and NPS schemes. “On one hand authorities of education department are making tall claims for the renovation of the department but on the other hand nation builders are starving and begging due to the non-availability of salary, which is injustice and human rights violation,” Chairman of the Forum, Ab Qayoom Wani said in a statement issued to KNS.
He said that the authorities are making lame excuses and illogical reasons and the officers of the department seem helpless to solve this human issue which has been a reason of frustration for the nation builders from last three years.
In the session EJAC president and chairman teachers forum, Wani warned the department to release the long pending salaries of teachers and masters working under SSA, RMSA and NPS before Eid otherwise JKTF is bound to launch a strong protest against the authorities responsible for the miseries of teachers for which government will be responsible.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that teacher’s forum is starting a protest calendar after Eid for the redressal of issues of teachers and other employees.
The session in one voice strongly condemn the mid-term transfer and suspension orders issued by Directorate of School Education Kashmir without proper inquiry.
Wani termed it as a hidden conspiracy against the teaching fraternity.
He further said that these acts will have negative impacts on the environment of the department which is totally unacceptable.
Wani demanded stoppage of these unconstitutional and illogical orders during mid-session because it will develop negative impacts on the department. (KNS)
