Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): An extra ordinary session of Jammu & Kashmir Teachers forum was conveyed under the chair of Chairman Ab. Qayoom Wani at Jammu.
The session welcomed and congratulated Syed Altaf Bukhari for holding Port Folio of Education and it was hoped that Syed Altaf Bukhari.
The Education Minister shall garner all his capabilities for initiating concrete steps to bring reform in the department. Since the department was passing through uncertainty for the last two years as choking of ethical values, playing with honor of teachers, Politicizing the future of students and backing of officers having wolves nature and morally corrupt had caused a great damage to the department. So it is the need of the hour to a refresh and make the department child centered, Restoration of ethical values and cleaning the department from corruption and political intervention by revealing the state’s education policies and restoring the dignity honour of teachers and other employees working in the department like positive steps shall bring an effective change in the department.
In a statement issued to KNS, Abdul Qayoom Wani said that teacher’s forum shall lend its full support in bringing reforms in the department and for the bright future of the students. We have in all circumstances charactically exhibited the representative character and have criticized all the steps which were against the department, society and the future of students and at all levels have preferred reality instead of compromises and followed the Principle of criticism for the sake of improvement not for the criticism for the sake of criticism.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Wani said that we are hopeful that education Minister shall keep in view the pulse and sensitivity of the department and put in all his capabilities to brighten the future of students and reforming the department shall be the priorities and shall improve the image and will leave no stone unturned to improve the department and Teachers forum shall support all genuine steps under all circumstances.
Wani said that teachers are the builders of nation as such deserve honor and respect, but under the circumstances when teachers are without pay for six months and forcing their family’s to starvation is not less than a tragedy.
Wani hoped that steps to release the pay of teachers shall be given priority so that there would be no foul play with the honour self respect and future of their children.
Wani hailed the decision Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for handing over the Port folio of education to Syed Altaf Bukhari and appear the teachers to discharge their duties as per precedence and use their faculty to make the society free from corruption and social evils and elevate the moral standards in schools So that the society shall not fell prey to moral turpitude and Decline.
