Srinagar, Dec 22 (KNS): Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s younger brother Tasadqu Hussain Mufti would be sworn in as the member of the legislative council on December 26 as governor NN Vohra has finally given nod to his induction in state’s upper house.
Sources privy to the development told KNS that the file with approval from the Governor NN Vohra has reached the Council secretariat in Jammu and by late Friday evening SRO in this regard shall be issued. “The file with Governor’s approval for nominating Tasaduq Mufti as MLC reached council secretariat on Friday at 6 in the evening.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe SRO will be issued in the regard by late Friday night,” sources said.
It was informed that the approval will be sent to the Council chairman, Haji Anayat Ali who will later fix the day of the swearing in ceremony.
Sources say that Tasaduq is most likely to be sworn in as MLC on Tuesday, December 26. (KNS)
