Jammu, Feb 10 (KNS): Welcoming the empowered committee decision of regularizing over 330 daily wage workers, CPI (M) senior leader and MLA Kulgam, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has demanded that the similar pending cases of various departments be taken up on the same analogy.
In a statement to KNS, Tarigami said families of hundreds of eligible daily rated workers, need based workers and casual labourers are passing through tough times and the Honb’le Governor N.N Vohra must personally intervene and accord a favorable consideration to their long pending demand of regularization.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The CPI (M) leader said that the daily rated workers, causal labourers and need based workers have been turned into a hapless lot who are always put to tremendous hardships despite toiling hard in pressing circumstances.
Voicing his serious concern over their plight, Tarigami said that till these workers are regularized, the government must at least release their wages in time. (KNS)
