Tarigami raises concern over unannounced power outages in J&K

Srinagar, June 12 (KNS): CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami Monday said that many parts of Jammu and Kashmir are currently facing prolonged power outages, despite the region's abundant water resources.


In a tweet, CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami appealed to the Power Development Department of Jammu and Kashmir (@pddjkofficial) to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. 

He also said that the power outages have caused inconvenience among residents who rely on electricity for their daily activities.

"Many parts of J&K are witnessing unannounced and protracted power outages. It is unfortunate that despite having copious water resources, a seamless power supply remains a pipe dream. Appealing to @pddjkofficial to ensure an uninterrupted power supply," he said in a tweet.(KNS)
