Kupwara, Apr 23 (KNS): Bad road conditions in Tangdarh area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district here have irked the local population and are demanding to repair the roads at earliest.
According to KNS correspondent, locals said that the roads in Tangdarh area in shambles while the authorities failed to look into the sufferings of people.
“We appealed higher ups several time but unfortunately the authorities failed to repair the roads thereby leaving us to lurch at large,” locals told KNS.
They said that almost all the roads including 100 metre long Chowkibal-Chankot, Tangdarh-Ipernathia, Tangdardh-Bharwan, Tangdarh-Shamspora, Tangdarh-Baghbela, Tangdarh-Naar, Tangdarh-Poonaghabra, Tangdarh-Nawagabra, Tangdarh-Dhanihahjitra, Tangdarh-Teetwal, Tangdarh-Sikhbridge, Tangdarh-Ibkot, Tangdarh-Fatherkot, Tangdarh-Chittarkot, Tangdarh-Jhaada, Tangdarh-Gundigujra, and Tangdarh-Channipora are in shambles.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“We are facing tremendous hardships due to the bad road conditions of the roads but the authorities hardly bother to look into the sufferings of the people,” locals told KNS.
The locals said that they approached higher several times in this regard but nothing has been done so far.
Appealing Roads and Building department and PMGSY officials to look into the sufferings of people and redress their genuine demands as soon as possible. (KNS)
