Srinagar, Jul 16 (KNS): Supporting strike of engineers, Former MLA and PDP Chief Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir said that the Governor administration should sit up and take notice of their issues and address the demands of the engineers on protest.

He said that engineering is one of the fastest growing fields that is the backbone of a developing state and ensuring well being of our engineers who belong to this state is imperative.

He said that the engineers are genuinely irked by Government’s apathy on their demands and earlier also they have been assured redressal.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“They should get the benefits at par their counterparts” Mir said.

“A huge gap has been created between their regularisation, career progression and expansion of their cadre, their strike is a wakeup call and needs to be addressed by the Governor administration,” Mir said. (KNS)
