Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNS): Senior Congress leader and former minister Taj Mohi-u-din has demanded an immediate survey of damage suffered in Uri due to the Monday’s earthquake that rattled the region.

“Several houses and other infrastructure have developed cracks due to tremors in the Uri town and its adjoining remote areas. It is the responsibility of the government to assess the damage and compensate the victims as affected as early as possible so that people do not suffer in the falling winter season,” Taj said. (KNS)
