Srinagar, Sep 15 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Mohd Younus Mallik starts Swachta Hi Sewa campaign from DC office complex Anantnag. Chief Executive officer, Shabir Wani, ACR Anantnag, Syed Shabir, ACD RDD Nissar Ahmad Nissar, Secretary MCA Nazir Mallik and all district officers were present.
A country wide cleanliness drive Swachhita Hi Sewa was today kick started by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Mohammed Younis Malik from the DC Office Complex. While speaking on the occasion, the DC said that although we maintain cleanliness and hygiene at our individual levels, need of the hour is to join together to make our district spec clean. He said that we should accord priority to clean water sources, public utility spaces and roads.
He appealed the public in general to pledge not to make use of polythene and it should be our endeavour to make the district open defecation free district. (KNS)
