Kulgam, Aug 19 (KNS): A leader of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader was shot dead on Thursday evening by suspected militants in Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the leader of JKAP, Ghulam Hussan Lone was fired at outside his residence.

“He received critical injuries in the incident and was immediately rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where he was declared dead on arrival,” the official said.  

The official said that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNS)
