Poonch, Dec 28 (KNS): At least nine persons were injured in Poonch district of Jammu region when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident on Monday, official said.

"A Tata Sumo vide registration no. JK12B-1646 was on way from Sawjian to Mandi who skidded of the road near Sundri Nullah at around 1110 hours and fell down about 15 feet, resulting in injuries to nine persons", official said and added all injured have been evacuated to PHC Sawjian.

He idetified the injured as Farooq Ahmed (26), Najama Begum (24), Majida Begum (50), Amir Ali (26), Akash Ahmed (30), Shakeel Ahmed (30), Jahangir Ahmed (25), Farida Begum (32) and Saleema Begum (35), all resident of Sawjian and said all injured according to doctors are said to be out of danger.
