Students of Army Goodwill School Hajinar shine in 10th standard exams

Karnah, Feb 27 (KNS): On one hand the pathetically poor performance of government high School Gundi Shart and govt high School Baghballa of border town Karnah with zero and 25 percent result respectively in the recently declared results of the Class 10th, right there students of Army Goodwill School Hajinar Karnah have performed exceedingly well.

According to Kashmir News Service, the performance shown by the students of AGS Karnah speaks volumes about the hard work by students and the quality of education.

The students of AGS Hajinar made their teachers proud by keeping up with the legacy, 

As per details the students of AGS Hajinar performed even better with 88.40 per cent pass result and 39 per cent students got through with distinction while 40 per cent got Ist division. “10 percent students clear exam with 2nd division.”

The topper amongst them Sameer Ahmad Mir secured 96 per cent marks while Shoaib Ahmad Mir passed with 92 per cent marks and Saleeqa Hassan secured 90 per cent marks.
  
The locals of Karnah have conveyed their deep appreciation to both students as well as the  faculty members for their pain staking efforts towards shaping the future of the children of this border town.

They said  that the students of Army Goodwill School Hajinar have not only been performing well in academics but also in co-curricular activities. 
   
Pertinent to mention here that the Indian Army has established Army Goodwill School (AGS)  Hajinar in December 1999 in this border town to provide quality education to students at their doorsteps, especially to the underprivileged. (KNS)
