Srinagar, May 02 (KNS): A minor student was Wednesday injured after their school bus was pelted with stones in Zavoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said.
Director General of Police (DGP), Shesh Pal Vaid said that ‘miscreants’ pelted stones on a school bus of Rainbow School Shopian, resulting in injuries to 2nd class student identified as Rehan.
The injured student according to the DGP was shifted to SKIMS hospital for treatment with head injury.
He said that targeting young school children is complete madness and those involved in it will face the law.

Meanwhile, police said that they have taken cognizance of the stone pelting incident on the school bus and assured legal actions into the matter.
