Bandipora, April 7 (KNS): The Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Bandipora has issued a final warning to the nursing staff regarding the presence of unauthorised individuals within hospital wards and sections, particularly during night duty hours.

According to an official order, it has been observed with serious concern that despite repeated instructions, some staff members continue to allow students and other unauthorised persons to remain present in sensitive hospital areas. The administration has termed this practice a violation of discipline and a threat to patient safety.

The order clearly states that no student or unauthorised individual shall be permitted in any ward or section under any circumstances, especially during night shifts. However, interns will be allowed strictly as per the already approved duty roster.

The hospital administration has emphasised strict compliance with earlier directives banning such practices and warned that any violation—whether during day or night—will be dealt with seriously.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Furthermore, the order outlines strict consequences for non-compliance, including:

Disciplinary action against the concerned nursing staff

Deduction of allowances if any unauthorised person is found in their assigned section

The Medical Superintendent has directed all staff to adhere strictly to these instructions to ensure discipline, patient safety, and institutional integrity within the hospital.

The directive, issued under order number DHB/26-271025 dated April 7, 2026, serves as a final notice, leaving no room for further violations. (KNS)
