Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): At least 12 persons including some kids were bitten by the stray dogs from last couple of days in Gingal village of Uri area while one among the kids is in critical condition.
Residents of the village are up in arms against the Municipal Corporation (MC) for its alleged failure to curb dog menace in the village.
The residents according to the KNS correspondent, Nadeem Khawaja said that at least 12 persons including some kids were bitten by the dogs.
“One among the kids identified as Abeer, daughter of Nisar Ahmad, resident of Gingal Uri who was bitten by the stray dog is in critical condition at Srinagar’s SMHS hospital,” locals according to KNS correspondent said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Inhabitants of the area said that MC has miserably failed to curb the dogs in their area thereby leaving the people to lurch. “The authorities should look into the hardships of the people at earliest for the betterment of the people,” locals said.
They later appealed MC to look into the matter and redress their genuine demands at earliest. (KNS)
