Srinagar, Sep 27 (KNS): Stray dogs attacked and injured at least 15 persons in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.
According to KNS correspondent, the residents of Kadipora and Sarnal area said that the stray dogs are on prowl in their area and have attacked and injured at least 15 persons so far who were shifted to District hospital Anantnag for treatment. “The persons were bitten during the wee hours of this morning. We approached the authorities as well but nothing has been done in this regard,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Out of total number of injured persons, the condition of six injured persons is critical who,” inhabitants said, adding that the authorities should immediately redress the genuine grievances of people.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent of DH Anantnag, Dr Abdul Majid Mirab told KNS that free anti-rabies injection were given to the injured persons initially and will be assisted in future course as well. (KNS)
