Stray dogs injure Five people in Bandipora; 1 shifted Srinager Hospital

Srinager, July 23(KNS): Two minor girls Among five people were injured by a pack of stray dogs at khayar, Pazalpora villages of North Kashmir's Bandipora district on Friday evening. 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the pack of dogs attacked the people in these villages, iinjuring five people including two minor girls. 

Five of the injured were taken to District Hospital Hospital where from one of them was referred to Srinager hospital for specialized treatment to grievous wounds. 

An official at District Hospital confirmed that five people were received at the hospital and one of them was later shifted to Srinager. 

He identified the injured as Aliya Hamid Daughter of Ab hamid chopan resident of khayar, Habibulla Chopan son of Mohd Sultan Chopan, Gh Mohi udin malik, Fatima Daughter of Abdul Hamid rather of Hartang and Rizwan ahmad Malik son of Gulam nabi Malik resident of khayer. 

Meanwhile, local residents said: “It is the responsibilit of the district authorities to take required steps for the prevention of dog-bite cases(KNS).
