Srinagar, Sep 29 (KNS): Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation Front (JKDLP), Hashim Qureshi while expressing grief over the deteriorating situation between India and Pakistan on Thursday asked the leadership of the both the countries to stop ‘war insanity’ and resolve the Kashmir issue.
In a statement issued to KNS, Qureshi said that war between the two neighbouring countries can prove dangerous to the people of Kashmir who are already facing the atrocities of Indian forces and extremists.
He said that war between the countries cannot only destroy the generations but can also destroy the territory as well. “I appeal to both the countries to stop war madness and resolve the issue of Kashmir, poverty and disease in their respective countries,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Qureshi said that the only way to resolve the Kashmir issue is that Pakistan and India should give Right to Self Determination to Kashmiris and also the position of 15 August 1947. “I believe that Independent Kashmir can become a buffer state between India and Pakistan, which create the way of peace and development in entire Asia,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hashim Qureshi condemned the ‘war madness’ of both India and Pakistan and asked them if they desire to wage war then should fight it on their respective borders to stop the killings of Kashmiris. (KNS)
