Srinagar, Sep 27 (KNS): the J&K police on Tuesday said, that stone pelting led to death of a young girl today morning when she along with her sister was hit by a vehicle near Parimpora Srinagar. The vehicle was moving backwards and hit the girls as it came under stone pelting by miscreants.
“The girls were identified as Ms Fozia and Ms Nadia daughters of Mohammad Sidiq Lone resident of Gulbagh. They were hit by a Cream colour Scorpio near Rogan Gali Parimpora. The driver while moving his vehicle backwards hit the girls as his vehicle was stoned by the miscreants early morning,” police in the statement said.
The girls were critically injured in the incident.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelBoth the injured were shifted to hospital where elder sister namely Fozia succumbed to her injuries.
“A case FIR number 222/16 has been registered and investigation has been taken up.”
Meanwhile, the statement further said that, one person namely Furqan Hamid Son of Abdul Hamid resident of Zoonimar was injured when miscreants pelted stones on him while he was riding a scooty near Allie Masjid Eidgah, Safa Kadal. He received injury in his head.The injured person has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where his condition is stable, police in a statement said. (KNS)
