Jammu July 27 (KNS): Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur, Amod Nagpure-IPS chaired an operations-cum-crime review meeting at District Police Lines Udhampur. The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Udhampur Sandeep Bhat JKPS, Sr. PO DPO Udhampur, DySP DAR, DySP Hqrs, SDPOs Ramnagar/Chenani, DySP Ops Udhampur/Basantgarh/Latti, all SHOs and IC PPs of the district.

A detailed Police station wise review was conducted on investigation of criminal cases, inquest proceedings, crimes against women, action against drug peddlers and bovine smugglers. Progress on tracing missing persons, arresting absconders, solving theft/burglary cases, and execution of court processes was also discussed.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

SSP appreciated the efforts of Udhampur Police in maintaining law and order and stressed on timely updation of CCTNS. Officers were directed to ensure quality investigation, proper record-building, and prompt grievance redressal.

In view of the upcoming Independence Day, SSP instructed all officers to enhance checking, conduct anti-sabotage exercises, and work diligently on every security-related aspect to ensure smooth and incident-free celebrations.

SSP reiterated Udhampur Police’s commitment to maintain peace and law & order while continuing the fight against crime and drugs.(KNS)
