SSP Kathua felicitates officials specially trained for Amarnath Yatra

       
Kathua, June 02 (KNS): With a view to boost the morale of officers and jawans who have been earmarked for Amarnath Yatra, SSP Benam Tosh Commandant gave away cash rewards and commendation certificates to 150 personnel in an impressive ceremony organized at IRP-19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua.
       
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), CO accompanied by SP Dewakar Singh, Deputy SP Shabinder Singh, Deputy SP Deepak Tufchi, Deputy SP Updesh Kumar felicitated the officials specially trained for Amarnath Yatra and presently kept in readiness . 
       
Benam Tosh speaking on the occasion congratulated the recipients of rewards, wished them all the best and hoped that they would certainly come up to the expectations of the pilgrims throughout the period of Yatra and would work wholeheartedly round the clock to provide secure and fear free atmosphere for the smooth conduct of pilgrimage.

Sharing his experiences vis-a-vis Amarnath yatra, Benam Tosh said that he has performed Amarnath yatra duties nearly twelve times and has been incharge of the Holy Cave twice  in south Kashmir Himalayas and incharge Bhagwati Nagar Jammu twice,  incharge JPCR / PYO Pahalgam, Zonal officer/territorial officer along yatra route almost in all districts from Lakhanpur upto Holy Cave.

He further said that utmost dedication to duties on the part of police is required for which special training is being imparted to the earmarked nafri. (KNS)
