Budgam March 05: (KNS) SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem-JKPS accords warm reception to Gold Medalist ( wushu) Ms Sadia Tariq at Srinagar Internation Airport on her return from Russia ( Moscow).
Sadia Tariq belongs to Srinagar and has brought laurels to the UT of Jammu and Kashmir by winning Gold Medal in the recently held All Star Wushu Championship-2022 held in Moscow Russia. Sadia Tariq a girl of age 15 years has won a gold medal two times before in the junior national wushu championship.
A bouquet was presented to the Gold Medalist by SSP Budgam on her arrival. SSP Budgam while receiving the gold medalist stated that sports plays an important role in the personality development and Sadia Tariq’s achievements will definitely encourage sports activities in UT of J&K.
While praising her achievements, SSP Budgam stated that she has become a role model for many young budding talented children of J&K and wished her good luck for all her future endeavours.(KNS)
