Bandipora 19 April (KNS) : Bandipora police in its efforts to limit the outbreak of CoronaVirus and to ensure health- safety of public, today organised an interactive meeting at DPL Bandipora with Traders federation/Transporters and Imams. The government directions and guidelines regarding containment of COVID-19 and SOPs to be followed were spelled out to them for further awareness to general public. 

The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipora Shri Mohammad Zahid -JKPS accompanied by ASP Bandipora, DYSP HQRS Bandipora and DYSP DAR. 

During the meeting SSP Bandipora impressed upon the participants to take all necessary steps in implementation of recent government orders and advisories issued by health department from time to time regarding COVID-19 containment efforts.The participants were also stressed upon to ensure social distancing and wearing of masks at Masjids, public transport and in markets and spell out all the directions and advisories to general public. 

The participants assured that they will follow the guidelines/orders of government and advisories of health department by letter and spirit, besides will cooperate with civil administration Bandipora and police.(KNS)
