Jammu, Mar 3 (KNS): Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar Thursday appreciated the efforts and dedication of doctors and administration of Srinagar Police Hospital for providing quality health care services to the police personnel and their families.
In a statement issued to KNS, DGP said that police hospitals at twin capital cities have been equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical equipments to make them high tech in different medical procedures.
Rajendra congratulated Dr. Bilal Ahmed Raja of Police Hospital Srinagar for performing the very first successful surgery through the latest Coblation System provided recently by Police Headquarters (PHQ).
He said that the system enabled the doctors to perform various complicated ENT surgical procedures making the Hospital first of its kind in the Valley to introduce the equipment, besides other gadgetry like Polysomnography, Chip on Tip and harmonic system.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Giving the details, Dr. Bilal has expressed his thanks to DGP and other Senior officers of PHQ for their efforts, by which the Hospital has been equipped with high end equipment. He said that during the beginning of his carrier, adeniodectomy was done by conventional method (St. Clair Thomson Adenoid Curette) which later shifted to Debroider and now with the introduction of Coblation System, things are getting much more composed.
Dr. Fauzia Habib, Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital also has expressed her gratitude to the DGP and other senior functionaries of Police Headquarters, by whose efforts Police Hospitals are being equipped with latest technology gadgetry and are able to render best possible healthcare facilities among the police personnel and their families.
